The second movement within the Triptykos teaching is the “creative” movement that involves a renewed sense of personal power. We are already developing contemplative and social action programs, but in order to give proper attention to the creative movement we are starting a new storytelling series in Southern Oregon entitled “The Hearth.” Each month we choose a theme and then gather six diverse people to tell a true story based on that team. Upcoming themes include: “Letting go: Stories of Loss,” and “Into the Wild: Wilderness Tales.” Storytellers speak without notes. Mark Yaconelli and Frank Rogers will each tell love stories along with five other storytellers at the opening event on February 11th at the Caldera Tap House in Ashland, Oregon. The title of the opening event is “Tales from the Heart: True Stories of Love.” To learn more go to The Hearth.
